Seven interesting things about living in Nairobi!_My experience!

So, yesterday I felt the pain of paying fare and forgetting to pick my balance... I lost a whole ksh.160...hivyo tu! That is like 2 lunches and 1 supper pale kibandasky! That pain however does not even come close to the one you feel for having to pay more simply because you used a different route, same duration, sigh!!
But...that's just Nairobi, rowdy, loud, beautiful green city under the sun! Living in Nairobi comes with a few interesting experiences;
1.Jaywalking: This is a norm here, and we somehow became experts! We ignore all the road signs...cross the road at red light...in fact cross the road below a footbridge, in the middle of the highway... we cross the road anywhere anyhow... too much for civilization!
2. Traffic jam... We don't even bother complaining anymore!
3. Loud blaring music on matatus; you should hear us complaining about them but using them again, we even scramble to get into them...tsk tsk tsk!
4.Always having an umbrella no matter the weather...things go from 100-0 pretty fast here, it would be scorching hot one minute and the next minute its raining buffaloes and Zebras!
5. Hawkers communicate with hands, brace yourself, they will poke you so much you will feel like an Avocado upon getting home!
6. Speaking of hawkers...another nuisance is the county council, we know we have to keep the city organised but... these guys cause more chaos with their hide and seek games more than anyone else!
7.We tend to trust only the guys in uniforms, yes we have trust issues, but can you really blame us with the advanced conman tactics.
Nairobi is surely an interesting city, never a dull moment...so what are your experiences, leave your comment below.
