THE DEAD DYE

I am a sanguine, one thing with people like me, we change our minds so fast and if something is not involving enough most of the time we walk away (I stand to be corrected)
Late last year I shaved my hair and it was the best idea ever, (so I thought) until I got tired of short hair, I think it’s because people stopped noticing and so I decided to give it a new look, sanguine  love attention. I have been denying this fact for so long until yesterday when I was trying to dye my hair, since no one was commenting about it anymore.
I was not really sure of the decision yet so I didn't go to the saloon because then they would have done it right and the thought of waking up with red or maroon hair gave me goose bumps. So for the second time (the first time was a disaster) I went for it. Anticipating, exited and feeling proud imagining how my new look would be, I closed my eyes and removed the lesso from my head, I was sure I would be happy with the result considering my hands were all red and (I think I imagined this) my hair felt softer an lighter.
Then I opened my eyes, and there I was, dyed hair thoroughly rinsed and dry… alas! There it was…darker than before. Boy did I laugh at myself! After three hours…water, electricity, energy and one hour of sleep wasted and my hair was still black…hahaha!
Lesson learned; if you want to dye your hair go to the saloon! My hair is still black, phew! Considering the number of times I have changed decision about my hair…thank God, the dye’ died.’ I mean last month I wanted it braided, last week I wanted it shorter, yesterday maroon, tomorrow I probably will want it blond…I mean make up your mind already Tracy!
Thank God it was just hair, not a permanent decision. If I didn't like the color I would have just shaved it, easy pizzy, but have we stopped to think that some decisions we make in life lead to permanent regrets. Some steps are irreversible they can neither be shaved nor do they grow back, that’s why we need to be more than sure it what is right and what we really want before we do it. Most bad decisions are made because we are not sure what we want.

Better sure than sorry!  #keepinitreal.
